At the program EU Erasmus+ “Staff Mobility for Training” in academic year 2022/2023 Ihor Voitovych – professor, head of Department of information and communication technologies and computer science teaching methods of Rivne State University of Humanities visited University of Rzeszow during 24-28 April this year.

Through cooperation Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, European Integration and Innovation Pelekh Yuri and Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator University of Rzeszow Lucyna Kustra-Kłeczek this program was held.

Overall objectives of the mobility: to study the experience of teachers of Rzeszow’s University in the training of computer science specialists in the conditions of blended learning; get acquainted with educational and scientific laboratories; consider the education and management systems at the University of Rzeszow,  analyze curricular of professional disciplines; to investigate the issue of academic mobility of our university students with the possibility of re-enrollment of study results; to offer joint scientific conferences.

There are a lot of activities were carried out:

1. Meeting with the college management; demonstration of work with systems used for training and management of the educational process in the college;

2. Comparison of admission conditions, curricula with the prospective goal of realizing academic mobility of students;

3. Tours of educational and scientific laboratories, library, campus;

4. Communication with students and teachers regarding work in conditions of blended learning, choice of disciplines, organization of practices;

5. Studying the work of scientific circles, scientific seminars.

The experience of Rzeszow’s University teachers in the training of computer science specialists will be valuable for the teachers of our university because we will be able to modernize our training system and bring it up to the European requirements for quality assurance.

Acquaintance with the material and program resources used for teaching and management at the University of Rzeszow will make it possible to implement similar approaches to the organization of work with students at the Rivne State University of Humanities.

Comparison of study plans will make it possible to implement programs of academic mobility of students with the possibility of re-enrollment of study results.

We expect to hold joint scientific conferences and seminars, which will additionally stimulate both scientific research in both universities and academic mobility programs.

Thanks to this Erasmus+ mobility activity: we will lead to the use of new training methods at our university; we will lead to increased cooperation with the partner institution; it has led to internationalization of our university.
