To become a student of RIVNE STATE UNIVERSITY OF HUMANITIES you need to go through several stages in the following succession:
1.Get invitation for a study:
To get invitation for study in RSUH you need:
1) fill in application form in English and and send it on e-mail (dir@rshu.edu.ua) 2) send a copy of the passport, translated into the Ukrainian language and notarized; 3) send a copy of the previous education document with translation English/ Ukrainian and notarized; 4) send a copy of the supplement to the previous education document with grades (points), translated into English/Ukrainian, or academic record (with stated number and title of the document), translated into English/Ukrainian and notarized; 5) send certificate (copy) about completing the course of language training (if available);. 6) The agreement for personal data processing agreement form. |
Documents must be sent in a scanned form (at JPG) to the Preparatory Department’s e-mail dir@rshu.edu.ua. Or they can be submitted personally to the Selection Committee of the Preparatory Department for international students.
Payment
As soon as an invitation is ready, it must be paid in a bank.
Only after receipt of written notice from RSUH and after payment for invitation 648 UAH and the “Invitation to study” will be issued.
The invitation is valid no more than 6 months since the date of its signing.
2. Arrival to Ukraine.
The citizens with visa entry procedure must submit all the documents for obtaining visa type D (student visa) to Ukrainian Embassy (consular office) in their home country. The rules and procedure of obtaining visa must be specified on Ukrainian Embassy (consular office) website in your country of residence. https://mfa.gov.ua/en/foreign-diplomatic-institutions-ukraine
The invitation from the University (original) must be submitted to the Embassy (consular office).
The visa is approved within a month.
After obtaining visa type D the foreigner must send the following information to the International Department of the University: the date and time of the arrival, the chosen way and means of transport: dir@rshu.edu.ua.
3. Admission to the University
To become a student of University you need:
To apply for the Bachelor’s degree: 1) fill in application form for entrans after school (application form form for entrans after vocalional school/colleges) in Ukrainian and application form in English; 2) an invitation letter (original); 3) a foreigner’s international passport or any other document which identifies a stateless individual with a D-type visa (D-13) for the countries with visa procedure of entry issued by consular offices of Ukraine in a home country on the basis of an invitation letter, if other procedure is not stipulated by international treaties of Ukraine (the original document and 2 copies of translation into Ukrainian language approved by a notary). In case if D-type visa not obtained yet, you should pass the procedure of legalization of educational documents in the country of issuance: – legalization is carried out by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of the country that issued the educational document; – legalization is carried out by the consular section of an Embassy of Ukraine abroad (consular legalization or getting an apostille)); 4) previous education document (high school certificate) (the original document and 2 copies of translation into Ukrainian approved by a notary, with apostille/legalization); 5) the supplement to the education certificate (with the list of courses taken) (the original document and 3 copies of translation into Ukrainian approved by a notary, with apostille/legalization); 6) academic record issued by foreign/Ukrainian education body in case of reenrolment or readmission (available after the first year) with translation into Ukrainian approved by a notary; 7) 4 matte photos in size 3×4 cm; 8) the copy of the Foreign Ukrainian Certificate (in case you have it). |
The documents mentioned in paragraphs 4-6 must be translated into Ukrainian approved by a notary.
The documents mentioned in paragraphs 4-6 must be approved in the country of residence in the officially accepted way; certified and legalized by the corresponding foreign office of Ukraine, unless otherwise is provided by international treaties of Ukraine.
To apply for the Preparatory course: 1) fill in application form ; 2) previous education document (original and copy with translation into Ukrainian approved by a notary); 2) supplement to the previous education document (original and copy with translation into Ukrainian approved by a notary); 3) a copy of the first page of the international passport of the foreigner which contains all personal details (with translation into Ukrainian approved by a notary); 4) health insurance unless otherwise is provided by the international treaties of Ukraine; 5) 4 photos in size 30*40 mm. |
The documents mentioned in paragraphs 1-3 must be translated into Ukrainian approved by a notary.
To apply for Master’s degree: 1) fill in application form in Ukrainian and application form in English; 2) an invitation letter (original); 3) a foreigner’s international passport or any other document which identifies a stateless individual with a D-type visa (D-13) for the countries with visa procedure of entry issued by consular offices of Ukraine in a home country on the basis of an invitation letter, if other procedure is not stipulated by international treaties of Ukraine (the original document and 2 copies of translation into Ukrainian language approved by a notary). The documents mentioned in paragraphs 4-5 must be approved in the country of residence in the officially accepted way; certified and legalized by the corresponding foreign office of Ukraine, unless otherwise is provided by international treaties of Ukraine.
In the case of online admission, the applicant sends legalized and notarized copies of documents about previous education to the educational institution by international postal services (and scan copy to dir@rshu.edu.ua).
After crossing of the state border of Ukraine and arrival the applicant provides the original documents personally to the University.
To apply a PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) degree: 1) fill in application form; 2) Foreigners, who enter post-graduate studies shall additionally to the above-mentioned documents submit the research plan on the chosen scientific specialty OR the list of the published scientific works and inventions in Ukrainian or English languages, this list must be notarized according to the established procedure by the establishment where the applicant studied or worked. 2) Foreigners, who enter doctoral studies shall additionally submit comprehensive plan of dissertation thesis for obtaining the scientific degree (of a doctor of philosophy) AND a copy of the diploma on awarding the corresponding scientific degree (of a doctor of philosophy). |
All documents about the complete education documents of foreign citizens must proceed the Procedure of recognition of documents confirming previous education in Ukraine according to the actual legislation – within the first term of studies (https://naric.in.ua/en/).
If available, the applicant provides a copy of the certificate of nostrification or a copy of the certificate of application for nostrification to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine when submitting documents for training.
4. To pass the entrance interview:
a) on the knowledge of the language which must be on the level, enough for the successful learning of the educational material;
b) on the academic subjects, depending on the chosen specialty.
5. In case of successful passing the entrance interview, a foreign citizen must conduct a payment for studies.
